I AM FAMOUS NOW ???

I WAS BORN today.  One of seven.  My daddy is very famous.  I have lots of half brothers and sisters.  My mother is very famous too.  Since she got famous, she has only puppies now.  No more loving hand, no more fun trips...just puppies.  She is very sad when they leave her.

I left my house today.  I didn't want to go, so I hid behind my mommy, they just reached down and got me.  I don't like you.  They said one day I'm going to be famous too. What does that mean?  Am I  going to a new home that is filled with love?  You carried me away, I don't think that you like me much.

My new home is far away.  I'm scared and afraid.  I will try to be brave.

Oh my heart says:  BE BRAVE!  Did my brothers and sisters go to homes like mine?  I'm hungry,  they won't feed me much, because they want me to be small.  I can't bite or snap when children are mean to me.   I can't understand why they kick me?  I am quiet, but the man kicks and hits me, then he yells at me. I'm hungry, but they won't feed me, they want me to stay small.  The lady doesn't feed me good food like my momma did.  She just throws  the dry food on the ground and complains that I'm not what she was looking for when she bought me.  I try to get close for a hug or just someone to touch and pet me.  Sometimes the food smells bad, but after a while, I eat it anyway.

Today I had my own puppies.  I had  six.  They are wonderful, so  tiny and warm.  AM I FAMOUS NOW? I can't wait to play with them, but they are so tiny.  They are crying now, they are hungry, and it's so cold in this hole under the house. I am so hungry.  In the day time, it's so hot, something bites me.  I scratch and scratch. Oh how I wish someone would throw me some food.  I am also very thirsty.  Two of my babies got cold last the night, I could'nt make them warm again.  They are gone.  Maybe if I take the rest to the porch, I can get some food.  We are all very weak.

Today they took us away.  It was too much touble to feed us.  I now only have two babies, the others got cold one day and I couldn't get them wake them up again.

Someone grabbed my two babies.  They were crying and whimpering.  They were put in a truck with boxes on it.  I can't see my babies now. ARE THEY FAMOUS NOW? I hope so, I miss them.  Where did they go?

Why am I here?   There are so many dogs here!!This place smells of urine, fear and sickness.  Now I am hungry , dirty and in pain and now unwanted.  I think the worst is UNWANTED. No one came to take me home, I waited and waited, I'm trying to be so good.

Today someone came for me.  Am I going to a new home?, Will  I be loved and wanted?  They put a rope around my neck and lead me to a room that is very clean. It's so nice to smell how clean it is here. They put me on a shiny table.  They hold me and hug me.  Oh! it feels so good!!!! Yes...yes now I am loved, but  I feel so tired and lay over againt the one who is holding me.  I hope they don't mind me going to sleep, I tried to stay awake, but I can't keep my eyes open, I hope they will love me now. I love them and can't wait to get to know them.

TODAY, SOMEONE CARED...AM I FAMOUS NOW?

 

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHO YOUR BABIES GO TO.

Make sure they are wanted and loved.  Don't let them end up like this little girl.  Love them for any way they turn out,  show dog or just a lap warmer.  Be a good pet owner!!!
